Embracing Fall

I find myself hesitant to embrace Fall. Where I live, Fall means Winter.

I’m not ready for the cold or the lack of sunlight.

In truth, I’ll never be ready.

But I’m learning that difficult things are agents of growth.

The best thing about the dark is that it makes me appreciate the light that much more.

One day Winter will come whether I enjoy Fall or not.

So I might as well enjoy it.
